W.B. Ponton, 65, 147 W. main St., died Tuesday in a Missoula Hospital. He was born Sept. 13, 1907 in South Dakota.
Mr. Ponton attended schools in South Dakota and moved to Missoula in the early's 1920's. He worked as a cook in several area restaurants before retiring in 1972.
In 1936 he married Eva Evjen in Missoula. She died Last February.
Survivors include two sons, Homer Ponton and Bob Bedard, both of Missoula, a bother, Rev. Elmor Ponton, Chalmatte, La., and Seven grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Livingston & Malletta Chapel with Rev. Beryl Burr officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
