She was an Advertising executive for 30 years with the Merritt Ownes Agency. Later she worked for the Fritz Lisec Agency retiring 1988. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Little Flower Circle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Rose Marie DeNota, in 1937, and a son, Mark Douglas Ferguson, in 1997.
At the time of her death, she was survived by her husband of 58 years, James B. Ferguson, of the home, one sister, Betty Jean DeNota Martinek, Kansas City, KS, a daughter-in-law, Katheryn Ferguson, Tonganoxie, KS, three grandchildren, Eric & Michael Ferguson and Miranda D. Anthony, and two nephews, Forrest Martinek and Brian Martinek.
