Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Ruth Neerings Kirton, passed away January 12, 2004 at the age of 89. She was born December 22, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gabriel Johannes and Catharina Stuurman Neerings. She married Frank Barrus Kirton, in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; taught genealogy, Relief Society, Sunday School and Primary into her 80's. Ruth is survived by her children, Francis (Sandra) Kirton, Katharine (Daryl) Colledge, Carol (Alma) Anderson, Helen Ann Kirton, Sue (Dave) Sabodski, Darlene (Barry) Rishton; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and two brothers. Services will be held Friday, January 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road.
