The body of Ira Fowler, 31 years old, who died at Monett Monday from pneumonia, following an attack of influenza, arrived in Springfield yesterday. The funeral services will be held from the home of his father, J. W. Fowler and burial in Maple Park Cemetery.

The decedent for the past year had resided at Monett, where he was employed by Frisco as a boilermaker. Previous to going to Monett, he had resided in Springfield. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Ada 12 and Mildred 3. Besides the father, two brothers, Roy Fowler, a blacksmith at the south side Frisco shops and Earl Fowler, now in France, and one sister, Miss Clara Fowler, who is at home. The decedent’s mother died 17 years ago, death also being due to pneumonia.
