~~~~~~~
The Grim Reaper.
With silent footsteps and sudden hand the Grim Reaper pursues his relentless course, and more than one respected resident has been gathered to his fathers during the past week.
T. C. ATTEBERRY. Born August, 1846, T. C. Atteberry died at the home of John Faulkner in this city on Dec. 27th, age 65 years. Mr. Atteberry was born, raised and lived here all his life, save with the exception of seven years when he moved temporarily away. Interment took place in the city cemetery on Dec. 28th, the service being conducted by Rev. Edwards of Macon. One son, Willie, two brothers and two sisters survive him: John B. and Zeff Atteberry; Mrs. A. G. Webber of La Plata and Mrs. Susan Moore of Goldsberry. Our deep, heart-felt sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones.
