Joyce Redding Brown was born February 17, 1927 in Ouachita Parish to the union of Floyd and Delia Redding and passed away January 26, 2014 in Monroe, LA.
On June 5, 1948 she married Jack W. Brown and became members of the First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband; mother and father; two brothers, RC and Willis Redding; two sisters, Pauline Rogers Danna and Sissy Orlean Heacock; and son-in-law, Johnny Kottenbrook.
Survivors include her son, Tim Brown and wife, Becky; daughter, John Ellen Kottenbrook; grandchildren, Mandy Holloway, April Goforth and husband, Shannon, Rae Brown and Matt Brister, Jacob "Jake" Kottenbrook, Dusty Brown and Charlie Wardlow; great grandchildren, Morgan Becker, Logan Simmons, Cameron Corbin, Laela Simmons, Bailey Brister, Braxton Brister and Brett Goforth; great-great grandchild, Cooper Becker; two sisters, Violet Berry and husband, Buddy and Betty Wallace; brother, Kenneth Redding; sisters-in-law, Helen Redding and Vera Redding; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
