Bays-Muxlow, Gail Ann 61, of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2014 after years of courageously battling breast cancer.

Gail was a devoted mother to her two sons, beloved wife, loyal and caring sister, proud grandmother, adored educator and cherished friend.

Gail was the youngest of three daughters, born in Pasadena, CA, and raised in Lancaster, CA. She attended and graduated from Arizona State University earning a Bachelors of Arts and Masters in Education.

Gail taught elementary school in Phoenix for over 30 years, where she touched and impacted many lives.

She provided a loving and nurturing home for her two sons, Charlie and Chad, who were a source of great pride to her as they grew and started families of their own.

In 2003 Gail married Dan Muxlow, with whom she enjoyed traveling to destinations across the globe.

Gail loved the beach and said that waking up to the sound of the waves crashing and smelling the cool sea breeze was next to heaven.

Gail also treasured visits with her sisters and her countless friends.

Gail will be remembered for her endless generosity and kind heart, her infectious laugh and her beautiful smile. In essence, Gail gave more than she took.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 pm on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Palmcroft Baptist Church, 15825 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85053. Parking on South Lot.
