Chapo was the son of Jess Lee McCabe and Leta Mae (Jackson) McCabe, born in Artesia, New Mexico on Aug. 31,1942 and departed this life Oct. 30 in his home in Niangua. At the time of his passing he was 68 years of age.
Chapo was a member of Second Baptist Church, Springfield, MO.
On August 22, 1980 he was united in marriage to his wife.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess Lee and Leta McCabe.
Survivors include his wife of the home, two daughters and a son.
Services for Chapo were held at 10 am Tuesday, Nov. 2 at Second Baptist Church, Springfield, MO.
