Doris Lee Cort, nee Reed 79, of Dupo, Ill., born May 7, 1935 in Benton, MO., passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
Mrs. Cort was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, Ill., Women's Club at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and she was a girl scout leader for several years.
Mrs. Cort was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert & Anna, nee Koenig, Reed and her brother, Marshall Reed.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Fred Cort, her daughter, Leslie (David) Hartlieb, her son, Bryan (Karen) Cort, her grandsons, Ryan & Nicholas Cort, her granddaughter, Lauren Hartlieb, her sister, Betty McCabe, her sisters-in-law, Aleene Godare, Luella Kent & Shirley Mallett. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation or DuKare.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, Ill., with Msgr. Carl E. Scherrer, officiating.
At Mrs. Cort's request, cremation will follow the services.
