Juletta Frances Thele, 76, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at Elder Care in Marble Hill.
She was born Dec. 9, 1928, in Glennon, Mo., daughter of Henry and Mathilda Koenig Thele. She lived her entire life in the Bollinger County area and was a resident of Elder Care since 1992.
Juletta was baptized into the Catholic faith and had been a lifelong member of St. John's Catholic Church at Leopold, Mo. She also attended school in the Leopold school system.
Survivors include four brothers, John Thele and wife Myrtle of Marble Hill, Robert Thele and wife Wilma of Jackson, Harry Thele and wife Brenda of Jackson, Kenneth Thele and wife Deborah of Leopold; four sisters, Evelyn Conner and husband Don of Festus, Mo., Gerlene Trentham and husband Hobart of Licking, Mo., Imogene Carter and husband Eugene of Bridgeton, Mo., Judy Stause and husband Alvin of Glennon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, a brother, a sister and two half brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with parish prayers followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary at 6 p.m. The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tony Shinkle, Dan Trentham, John W. Thele, Bill King, Brad Thele and Scott Stause.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children or Masses.

Juletta was brain damaged as a young girl. I believe I heard about age six from a very high fever. She lived a long life and died in mid October 2005. Juletta was mentally impaired but she was friendly and did learn many things. She was a great help to her mother in helping out with all of her many sisters and brothers.
