Funeral service will be held Friday for 91-year-old Anna Regina Burgert of Ste. Geneveive who died Tuesday, March 9, 1999 at Riverview Manor Nursing home.

She was born on December 16, 1907 in Ste. Geneveive, the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Uding.

She was married to Albert Burgert. He preceded her in death.

Children surviving are: Lolita Grass of Ste. Genevieve; Anna Ruth McAtee of Ste. Genevieve; Marcella Kemper of Lawrenceton; Francis "Frankie" Burgert of Vandalia; and Louise Burgert of Ste. Genevieve.

Also surviving are 26 grandchildren 55 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

The following children preceded her in death: Eileen Trautman, Alberta Gegg, Armida Burgert and Albert J. "Buddy" Burgert. One grandchild, one great-grandchild and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Golden Age Club, War Mothers and VFW Auxiliary.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Stanton-Wood Mortuary.

Funeral Mass for Anna Regina Burgert will be held Friday, March 12, 1999 at Church of Ste. Genevieve. Rev. John Patrick Day and Deacon George Wood officiating. Interment in Valle Springs Catholic Cemetery.
