A funeral will be held Tuesday, November 27th, 2001 for 91-year-old Gilbert P. Flieg of Ste. Genevieve, who died Friday, November 23rd at the Ste. Genevieve Care Center.
He was born July 5th, 1910 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of Peter Flieg and Mary Gisi both preceded him in death.
He married Wilma Flieg on July 17th, 1933. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son and daughter in law, John and Carol Flieg of St. Louis and one brother and sister in law, Francis and Helen Flieg of Festus.
Two grandchildren survive.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Jo Flieg, four brothers, Fred, Herbert, Joseph and Oliver Flieg, and two sisters, Hilda Grass and Lena Karl.
He attended the Church of Ste. Genevieve.
Visitation will be this (Monday) afternoon after 4 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
