Mrs. Mary E. Flieg, wife of Mr. Peter Flieg. died at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis, on, Monday January 29, 1917, after undergoing an operation, aged 39 years, 1 month, 5 days. The deceased w thedaughter og the late Mr. Valarian Gisi and Mrs. Elizabeth Gisi nee Kiefer. She is survived by her husband and seven children; the oldest 13 years and a baby five weeks old. The remains were brought here from St. Louis Monday night and the funeral was held from the Catholic Church Wednesday morning, after which the body was laid to rest in tho Valle Spring Cemetery.
