Keith W. "Kiki" Scherer, of Ste. Genevieve, died Saturday, April 20, 2002, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. He was 77.
Funeral Services were held Monday, April 22, 10 a.m. at the Church of Ste. Genevieve with Reverend John Deken officiating.
Burial was in Valle Spring Cemetery. Basler Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
He was born Sept. 6, 1924, in Ste. Genevieve, a son of William and Stella (Richer) Scherer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dorothy Schwent and Constance Farrell; four brothers, Ishmael, Marvin, Malcolm "Poogie" and Warren "Bossy" Scherer.
Mr. Scherer worked for the City Street Department for many years before his retirement.
The family requests memorials to the American Heart Fund or to the Ste. Genevieve Church Preservation Trust.
