Amelia Winston married John Alexander Bellissime circa 1854. By 1900, widowed, Mrs. Bellissime lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Frederick and Mae/May Morrice. She reported birth date of August 1833 and that she had seven children with two living.
According to Findagrave contributor, Scott Reed, Amelia was the daughter of Antoine (1810-1876) and Marie Louise "Ranger" Winston (1815-1865). He also reports that family records have Amelia listed with a birth day of 19 Jun 1837 in Ste. Genevieve, Ste. Genevieve CO., MO.

BELLISSIME –Entered into rest on Aug. 24, at …a.m., Mrs. Amelia Bellissime (nee Winston), relict of John A. Bellissime, mother of Cora M. Powell (nee Bellissime) and Mrs. Lilly May Morriss (nee Bellissime), aged 74 years.
Interment Mount Olive Cemetery, St. Louis County. Funeral services will be held from SS. Peter and Paul's Church.
