, 74, of Sanders, Ky., died Friday, April 29, 2005, at the University of Louisville Health Care in Louisville, Ky.
He was born May 30, 1930, in Sanders, the son of James and Sallie B. Welch Cobb. He was employed for several years with the Kentucky Department of Highways, and was a member of the Sanders Baptist Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Peggy Sue Warfield, Betty Jo Dermon and Kathy Lee Alexander, all of Sanders, Debra Lynn Supplee and Mary Elaine Dolby, both of Carrollton, Ky.; one son, James Lee Cobb III of Sanders; one brother, Thomas Robert Cobb, and one sister, Joan Kinman, both of Carrollton; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alma Jean Crawford Cobb❤
, who died Dec. 3, 1999; and two sisters, Katherine Crawford and Wanda Jean Cobb.
Services were held at 10 a.m. EDT today at the Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton, with burial in the Carrollton IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs. Katherine Crawford, sister of the groom and Marvin Crawford, brother of the bride, were the attendants.
The bride wore a blue satin dress with a red corsage.
The groom is engaged in farming and they will make their home with the groom's parents temporarily.
The bride's mother gave a reception Friday night, the following guest being present; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Crawford and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Crawford and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Cobb and daughter.

Survivors include five Daughters Peggy Sue Warfield, Betty Jo Dermon and Kathy Lee Alexander all of Sanders, KY, Debra Lynn Supplee and Mary Elaine Dolby both of Carrollton, KY, one Son James Lee Cobb III, Sanders, KY, one Brother Thomas Robert Cobb, Carrollton, KY, one Sister Joan Kinman, Carrollton, KY, and eleven Grandchildren .and seven Great Grandchildren.

James Lee Cobb, 74, of Sanders, Ky., died Friday, April 29, 2005, at the University of Louisville Health Care in Louisville, Ky.
He was born May 30, 1930, in Sanders, the son of James and Sallie B. Welch Cobb. He was employed for several years with the Kentucky Department of Highways, and was a member of the Sanders Baptist Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Peggy Sue Warfield, Betty Jo Dermon and Kathy Lee Alexander, all of Sanders, Debra Lynn Supplee and Mary Elaine Dolby, both of Carrollton, Ky.; one son, James Lee Cobb III of Sanders; one brother, Thomas Robert Cobb, and one sister, Joan Kinman, both of Carrollton; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alma Jean Cobb, who died Dec. 3, 1999; and two sisters, Katherine Crawford and Wanda Jean Cobb.
Services were held at 10 a.m. EDT today at the Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton, with burial in the Carrollton IOOF Cemetery.
