Married to Bridget Matthews in madison county illinois.He ran for many years the gun club in Brighton,IL He was the father of Rosetta (Buford) Stone, Glenda (Buford) Romine, & Tonya) Buford Brockwell. He has 9 grandkids)14 great-grandkids)-&16 great-great grandkids.And we are still growing!he was a very large man in body and a heart bigger.He was a faithful member of colony baptist church for over 40 years. A very loving father to his three daughters,loving brother to 4 sisters & 2 brothers.He is buried in between 2 of his sisters Roberta,& mary (Thelma) in harmony grove cemetary in gorin co,MO.his wife Bridget had moved to illinois after his death.She is buried in oakwood cemetary in Alton,Illinois.But I can still remember Christmas as a child,Him along with my mom would take us to church even though are mind werw on santa.we would leave the house with just a tree,and come home to sleigh tracks in our yard and presants under the tree, I could never get it untill in years following I helped mom paint the neighbors barn and I found the sleigh in the loft, we love him dearly. The sad note of this,his funeral was held on my sister Glenda's 10th birthday, So he is remembered every year on May 3rd. Cause of death water around the heart.
