Glenda Cox was my mother. She was married to Kenneth D. Cox and they had me Ruth Marie Cox (Vaughn) and my older brother Kenneth Wilber Cox. She has one sister Linda Horton (Robertson), and two brothers, Adrian Horton, and Elzie Horton. My mother was a great Christian woman and she did all she could to help others. She had a heart of pure gold and was the best mother a daughter could have ever asked for. All her prayers that she said for me when she was alive still hold me today. She went up to be with God in Heaven when she was only 49 years old, after a horrible fight with cancer. Her memories still are as bright and vivid today as they was years ago and I try to pass down to my children what she would have wanted them to know about her. Though we may not know and understand why God takes away the his true saints, but we are not to question the maker. God has everything in his total control and all works for the good of God and I give all the glory and praise to him. I thank God for each and everyday that he blessed me with such a tremendous mother, I could never have asked for a better blessing. Ruth Marie Vaughn
