Little Girl Lost.
She never ask for much in life and she sure never got it. She was a sweet loving little girl that grew up still sweet and loving but much to trusting.

At the age of 3, her rendition of 'Jolene' would bring tears of laughter to your eyes. The more you laughed, the louder she sang. She was a joy that my husband, children and I enjoyed for 4 short years.

FOR JODI:
Yesterday, I stood at my kitchen window watching the storm outside. As I watched, a single raindrop slid slowly down the pane, sparkling before my eyes until it fell---who knows where? But it was there, just like Jodi was here and I saw its beauty.
Jodi! She scampered through our hearts with a twinkle in her eyes and a smile that lit up our world. The house heard her happy giggles and glowed around her.
Which of us will ever forget those sweet little arms that hugged us oh so tight! Evenings we all sat around and loved her. She was more fun than television. And lucky was the one that she raised her arms to and begged, "Pease hold me."
Sometimes, late at night, I imagine that I hear her little footsteps down the hall. And, as I hold my breath in the darkness, from somewhere within my heart, I hear her whisper, "Pease now! Can I seep with you?"

'Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed.......'

She is at peace with our Lord now. I know she is 'seeping' in His arms. No one will ever break her heart again.

Her first husband, Stan, died in a car wreck along with a friend. Jodi was sitting in the middle of the small pickup with her feet up on the dash and was ejected through the small back window. By some miracle, except for sore ankles, she was unhurt.

Jodi was the mother of twins, Caleb Dalton and Lacey Kay and another daughter Journi Shane. Caleb only lived a few months. He is buried at Sierra View Cemetery outside of Marysville, CA. where Jodi's adored Uncle, Dalton Lee Davis is entombed..
Thanks to everyone who leaves flowers for this beautiful little girl, that through the cruelty of others, died of neglect. She left us much to soon.

Jodi was buried on July 13...a beautiful summer day. Her pallbearers were her brother, Shane Smith, cousins, Brandon and Dane and Uncle, Kory Davis. Honorary pallbearers were her nephew, Cameron and cousin, Dylan.

Please visit her son's, CALEB DALTON STEWART'S Find A Grave page.

The song I always sang to Jodi,
'You are my Sunshine...
My only Sunshine...
You make me happy...
When skies are gray...
You'll never know, Dear...
How much I love you...
Please don't take...
My Sunshine away...'
Sleep warm, Sweet Girl.

Special thanks to 'WISTERIA' for sponsoring our sweet Jodi's memorial. This is so thoughtful of you. You are truly an angel.
Also, I want to thank Alan Brooking for taking the pictures of Jodi's headstone. Thank you for you kindness.
