LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION REGARDING THE ESTATE OF DAVID CUTTING

Estate of David Cutting, deceased.
At a Surrogate's Court, held at Sinclarville in and for the county of Chautauque, this 14th day of July 1856 before Albert Richmond, Surrogate of said county, On the day and at the place aforesaid, Ziba Cutting of the town of French Creek in said county, appeared, and presented a petition that letters of administration of the good, chattels and credit of David Cutting late of the town of French Creek in said county, deceased, be granted to the said petitioner, & Eli N. Brown & Phillip Reynolds.
Whereupon, it was proved, to the satisfaction of the said Surrogate, that the said deceased, ath the time of his death, was a resident of French Creek in the County of Chautauque.
That he died at the town of French Creek in the county of Chautauque on the 27th day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty six and that he left no last will and testament, according to the knowledge and belief of the said petitioner: and that he said petition has no doubt that the said deceased died intestate, and that the probably value of the personal estate of the said deceased is about Sixteen hundred dollars and that the said petitioner is a the widow of the deceased
And that the said deceased left the following kindred entitled to his estate:

Lydia Scoville resides at Williamsville, State of New York,
Alanson Cutting resides in Crawford County, Pennsylvania,
Linus cutting resides in the state of Ohio,

Lodima Dow resides in the State of Iowa,

Whereupon, it is ordered that letters of administration of the goods, chattels, and credit of the said deceased, be granted to Ziba Cutting, Eli N. Brown & Philipe Reynold on their entering into a bond to the people of the state, with two sufficient sureties, to be approved by the Surrogate, in the penal sum of Thirty two hundred dollars, conditioned for the faithful execution of the trust reposed in them as such administrators and obeying all orders of the Surrogate of said country, and taking and subscribing the oath of office prescribed by law.
Whereupon, on the 14th day of July 1856, the said Zibe Cutting, Eli N. Brown & Philip Reynolds having produced the bond above required, duly executed and approved, and having each taken and subscribed the oath of office prescribed by law, which bond and oath are duly filed by the said Surrogate. It is further ordered that letters of administration be granted to said Ziba Cutting, Eli N. Brown & Philip Reynolds of the good, chattel and credits, of the said deceased.
It is further ordered, on the application of the said administrator James Beamus and William P Fisher two disinterested persons of the town of French Creek County of Chautauqua be appointed appraiser of the personal estate of the said deceased.
In Testimony Whereof, The said Surrogate hath hereunto set his hand and official seal, this 14th day of July 1856.
