Alice was born in Linden, Iowa, the daughter of Samuel and Bessie (Davis) Wilcox. On July 1, 1950, she married John A. Walberg in Oak Park, Illinois, and they celebrated more than 35 years of marriage prior to his death in 1986. Her love of the Lord was evident in her kind, gracious spirit, and in her giving service to others. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lansing, Illinois, and attended West Rome Baptist Church after moving to Tipton, Michigan, in 1999. She was gently ushered into the rest promised her because of her personal faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and is survived by her twin sons, Paul (Madeline) Walberg of Toledo and Tim (Sue) Walberg of Tipton; eight grandchildren, Karissa (Trevor) Creeden, Jonathan (Christen) Walberg, Allison Walberg, Kristin Walberg, Josh Walberg, Matthew (Erin) Walberg, Heidi Walberg, and Caleb Walberg; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, John Timothy Walberg; and her siblings, Mary Wilcox, Grace Stine, Georgia Cook and Manly Wilcox. A funeral service celebrating her life was held at West Rome Baptist Church, with her sons, the Revs. Paul and Tim Walberg, officiating.
