In October 2009, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office identified her as Dorothy Gay Howard (daughter of Roy E. Howard and Eunice G. Howard) from Phoenix AZ. In May 2010, the original stone was embedded into a new stone, with Howard's name on her grave, at last.
