Ruth Haynes, 82, of Brooksville, Florida, died on January 21, 2009, in Brooksville, Florida. She was born in Manhattan and moved to Florida 12 years ago from Troy. She was a retired manager with state Higher Education Services Corporation, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Computer Club of Spring Hill and the Spring Hill Garden Club and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, Peter J., David Patrick, Mark K., Matthew J. and Michael A. Haynes, and her daughters, Mary Valeria Haynes, Kathleen F. Haynes and Mary Elizabeth Roy; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation was Tuesday, January 27, 6 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Turner Funeral Homes, 14360 Spring Hill Driver, Spring Hill, Florida 34609; Donations in her memory may be made to the National Humane Society of choice.

Ruth was a dedicated Find a Grave contributor and will be missed by her fellow volunteers.

Ruth is buried beside her mother and maternal grandparents, Matthew McCoy and Nellie McCoy
