Bill Baughn was born in Savannah, GA and adopted as a toddler by Wilbert and Dorothy Baughn in Charleston, SC. At an early age the family settled in Jacksonville, FL and that became "home."
On Aug 4, 1960 Bill married Helen McNab and they had one son, Marc, before divorcing on Aug 4, 1965.
On Aug 22, 1965 he married Shirley Durden and they had on son, Bill Jr., before divorcing Mar 17, 1971.
Bill married Joyce Cox on May 25, 1971, they had no children. Much of their life together was spent traveling across the country with Bill's work as a stage hand; something they thoroughly enjoyed.
Bill was a good photographer and became interested in adding to Find A Grave records as we haunted cemeteries as Joyce, a genealogist, searched for family graves. He remained active until his death. Joyce is now continuing in his memory.
After he lost his battle with small cell lung cancer, Bill's body was cremated; his ashes now reside with the wife who has loved him since '68.
