SPECIAL RANGER
Frank R. Campbell was born in April, 1879, in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, to Richard Campbell and Anna Winifred Brown. Frank stood 6ft 1in tall, had blue eyes, brown hair and a fair complexion. He was married to Mattie Leota Giles on August 7, 1898. He was a chief special agent for the St. Louis Southwestern Railroad (Cotton Belt) in Tyler, Smith County, Texas. In 1900, he was a railroad brakeman in Hunt County, Texas. Frank enlisted in the Texas Ranger Force as a SPECIAL RANGER on January 11, 1918 thru January 15, 1919. In 1920, he was a railroad yard master, living in Commerce, Hunt County, Texas, and in 1930, he was a train master in Berwin, Cook County, Illinois. Frank R. Campbell died at age 83, February 16, 1963, in Waco, McLennon County, Texas. He was buried in the Rosemound Cemetery, in Commerce, Hunt County, Texas.

-According to his obituary from the Episcopal Church, he was a life-long member of the Episcopal Church, and was a Mason and a Shriner.
