Frank Pierce Stringer, 91 years 4 months and 29 days of age of Somerset, Kentucky departed this life and entered into eternal peace on Friday, March 30th, 1984 at Britthaven of Somerset following a short illness.
Frank was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on Tuesday, November 1st, 1892, son of the late Rufus and Margaret "Maggie" Rainwater Stringer. He was a retired farmer and a member of Ringgold Methodist Church.
Frank was survived by eight sons, Zearn Stringer, Cecil Stringer, Hawk Lewis Stringer, Vern Bryce Stringer, Virl D. Stringer, Frank Howard Stringer, Jim Bruce Stringer, and Gerald Stringer; two daughters, Darlene Bradley and Patsy Fogle; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edrie Butler Stringer, whom he married in Tennessee on June 24th, 1927, and who departed this life on March 24th, 1966; two sons, Quantrell Stringer, who departed this life on January 11th, 1976 and Roy Lee Stringer, who departed this life on January 29th, 1970; and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Stringer officiating.
Burial followed in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
