GUSTAV ASMUS DIED SUDDENLY HERE SUNDAY
Gustsv Asmus died at his home in Lemonweir, Sunday, Feb. 27, 1927, aged 48 years and 13 days.
The deceased came here from Chicago last July and moved onto a farm which Jess Clickner had been living for some time. He was born in Logansport, Ind., and lived there until about seven years ago. He made many friends here and was an industrious and capable farmer. He had been ailing for some time but his death came suddenly and unexpectedly. He was married to Miss Anna Meden in 1901 and he is survived by his wife and one son, Herman. His mother and several sisters live in Indiana.
The body was shipped to Logansport, Ind., Monday afternoon, and his wife and son left here on the same train for Logansport where the funeral was held Tuesday. Burial was in that city.
