My Auntie Lottie

Daughter of the late Katherine Dolecki Koper & John Koper.

Auntie Lottie was a loving, hard working woman. She was widowed young & when she was pregnant with her son Joey, so she moved back home with her parents, John & Katherine Koper.
I know Auntie Lottie worked in a laundry for quite a long time. She supported not only herself & Joey, but helped support my grandparents too. When she married Uncle Harry they had a son Tommy.

Auntie Lottie loved to play cards, her favorite being poker, a favorite Koper pastime, & very typical for a Koper.

Auntie Lottie was always the active lady on the go. My sister Dolly shares the same birthday with Auntie Lottie. Dolly always knew that she had to call Auntie Lottie early with her birthday wishes or she'd be gone for the day. She was an active member in her senior group & they traveled often. In fact, she had just stopped driving a few months before she died, @ age 93, & was going to sell her car.

Predeceased by both of her husbands, Joseph Dombrowski (August 5, 1936) & Harry Nowakowski (April 19, 1980).

Beloved Mother of Joseph (Marilyn) Dombrowski & the late Tom Nowakowski/Connie.

Beloved Grandmother of Ann Margret Nowakowski & Shawn (Daniel) Groat.

Beloved Great-Grandmother of Brandy Nowakowski, Rick Nowakowski, & Danielle Groat. Great great granddaughter Ariel was born less than a month after Lottie's passing.

Beloved sister of Irvin (Sophia) Koper, Catherine (Ed) Cox, Margret Sliwinski, & Dorothy (Tony) Zuzga.

Predeceased by siblings, Helen Stempien, Walter Koper, Barney Koper, Gertude Novak, John Koper, Norbert Koper & 2 infant siblings, Eddie & Antoni.
