Josephine A. Beckman age 59, a devoted wife, mother and teacher died suddenly Thursday, February 8, 2007, as a result of an auto accident outside her Lennon home. She started her teaching career in 1969 at Dieck Elementary in Swartz Creek community school system, she continued there untill her time of death. Her lifes work and vocation was teaching. The nurturing of children was always first and foremost on her mind. She is admired and will be missed by many of her present and past students. Her obituary reads she had a love of Christmas that carried throughout the year, she leaves behind a husband of 35 years, three children ,many other family members, as well as all her students.
