ROBERT LEE— Billy Glenn Carwile, 74, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at his residence. Service was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in rural Coke County with burial in Paint Creek Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; daughter Janet Woods of Robert Lee; and son Randy Carwile of Menard.

ROBERTLEE— Billy Glenn Carwile, 74, was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, athis residence in Robert Lee, Texas.
Bill was born on April 11, 1935, in Robert Lee, Texas, to Homer and Lucille Carwile.
He is survived by Pat, his wife of 56 years; daughters Janet Woods and husband Bill of Robert Lee and Judy Berry and husband Bruce of San Angelo; one son, Randy Carwile and wife Kari of Menard; his grandkids, Jennifer Woods of Memphis, Tenn., Marshall and Jordon Berry of San Angelo and Shay Carwile of Menard.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandson, Chris Woods.
Family visitation will be from 6 p.m.to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Shaffer Funeral Home in Robert Lee. Funeral servicewill be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at Pecan Baptist Church in rural Coke County and burial in Paint Creek Cemetery.

Bill was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Robert Lee Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer, genealogist and loved to take pictures and spend time with his family.
Bill will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
