ROBERT LEE— Billy Glenn Carwile, 74, died Wednes­day, Dec. 9, 2009, at his resi­dence. Service was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in rural Coke County with burial in Paint Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Pat; daughter Janet Woods of Robert Lee; and son Randy Carwile of Menard.

ROBERTLEE— Billy Glenn Carwile, 74, was called home to be with his Heav­enly Father on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, athis residence in Robert Lee, Texas.

Bill was born on April 11, 1935, in Robert Lee, Texas, to Homer and Lucille Car­wile.

He is survived by Pat, his wife of 56 years; daughters Janet Woods and husband Bill of Robert Lee and Judy Berry and husband Bruce of San Angelo; one son, Randy Carwile and wife Kari of Menard; his grandkids, Jen­nifer Woods of Memphis, Tenn., Marshall and Jordon Berry of San Angelo and Shay Carwile of Menard.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and his grand­son, Chris Woods.

Family visitation will be from 6 p.m.to 7 p.m. Fri­day, Dec. 11, 2009, at Shaf­fer Funeral Home in Rob­ert Lee. Funeral servicewill be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at Pecan Baptist Church in rural Coke Coun­ty and burial in Paint Creek Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Shaffer FuneralHome.

Bill was a deacon and Sun­day school teacher at Rob­ert Lee Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer, geneal­ogist and loved to take pic­tures and spend time with his family.

Bill will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
