Mrs. J. II. (Bertha) Fraser, 75, a former Galveston resident, died at 3 a.m. Friday in a Bakersfield, Calif., hospital.
Funeral services will be held in Bakersfield, at a time to be set. Cremation will follow.

Burial will be in the family plot in Oleander Cemetery in Galveston.

Mrs. Fraser was a longtime resident of Galveston before moving to California and had been employed at the YWCA here.
Survivors include two daughters. Mrs. C. A. Christman of Bakersfield and Mrs. George Hayes of New York City; a son. Col. Angus M. Fraser. USMC (ret), of Washington, D.C.. and three grandchildren.
