Dianne Lawson, age 54 of Artemus, was born on December 18, 1949 on Straight Creek in Bell County, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Clarence and Bertha (Smith) Middleton. Dianne died on Monday, June 1, 2009 at her residence.
She was a member of the Coal Port Baptist Church. On September 12, 1964, she united in marriage with Samuel (Sam) Lawson.
Dianne is survived by her loving Husband of over 44 years: Sam Lawson of Artemus. Her Children: Lynn Wagner and Husband, J.D. of Pineville; Kim Carnes and Husband, Jamie of ArJay; Sheila Lawson and Fiance' Ronnie Jordan of Artemus; her Step-Son: Troy Lawson and Wife, Angie of Cicero, Indiana. Her 8 grandchildren: Samuel Dustin Lawson, Dalton Lawson, Heather Wagner, J.J. Wagner, Brandon Carnes, Jimmy Carnes, Matthew Lawson and Cody Lawson. Her Sister: Carrol Messer of Bargerville, Indiana. Her 3 Brothers: J.R. Middleton of Greenwood, Indiana; Charlie Middleton of Lebanon, Indiana; and Curt Middleton of Indianapolis, Indiana; and many Nieces and Nephews, and other Relatives and dear Friends to mourn her passing.
Dianne was preceded in death along with her Parents, by a Brother: Frank Middleton.
Funeral Services for Dianne Lawson will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. James Michael Lawson and Rev. Gary Wagner Officiating. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with the Grandsons of Mrs. Lawson serving as Pallbearers. Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dr. Neal Barry and Staff; Dr. Kumar and Staff; and the Mountain Heritage Hospice. The Lawson family will recieve freinds at the Hopper Funeral Home on Wednesday evening after 6:00 P.M. and on Thursday, after 10:00 A.M. until the Funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
