*Killed one mile east of Bruce; when raising a steel well casing it struck a 6,000-volt power line. Worked at the CCC camp at City Point before being transferred to Bruce.

Electrocuted on a farm (Ira Ralston farm) near Bruce; a crew of five sought a suitable place to sink a well for forest fire protection. Emerson (foreman) and Frontal held a metal pipe which came into contact with wires carrying a heavy current of electricity.
