♥My Uncle Johnny♥

One of my favorite Uncles & I really miss him alot

Son of Sophie Mary Gabrysh Mazur & Peter (Piotr) Kowalski.

Beloved husband of Sharon Krause Kowalski.

Beloved father of John (Leslie), Ron (Catherine), & Julie.

Beloved grandfather of Eric, Amanda, & Aaron.

Beloved great grandfather of Destiny.

Beloved Brother of Stanley (Helen) Mazur & Sophia (Irvin) Koper.

His oldest sister, Mary Reynard passed away 7 months after him.

Predeceased by siblings: Steven Kowalski, Edward Kowalski, Joe Mazur, Frances Wills, Tom Mazur, Walter "Syl" Kowalski, & Jean Musczynski.

Beloved "Uncle Johnny" to many nieces & nephews.

Uncle Johnny was a one of a kind. He was a very good man.
He was a diesel auto mechanic by trade. When he went home to his family & 8+ acres, he would start his second "job", caring for his property & his garden. He would hunt during season & could can just about anything.
I acquired my love of hot & spicy foods from him.

Uncle Johnny was always true to his Polish heritage.
You would always hear Polish music when visiting.
Uncle Johnny, along with most of his siblings, was a member of the Bluewater Polka Boosters for many years.

He always had such a good sense of humor & was so fun to be around.
When it was time for my husband & I to buy a home we bought a home closer to his house instead of closer to our parents. He gave us that love of the country air. My Mom & Daddy were very happy about this. They had always loved the area & loved to come & visit us & then could go & visit Uncle Johnny, too.

Uncle Johnny was diagnosed with brain tumor. He was operated on & it was found to be cancerous. It is believed that it stemmed from all his years as a diesel mechanic & all the chemicals & fluids he was exposed to.

When Uncle Johnny was in ICU my husband & I would visit. We lived close so we timed our visits during the off times so my Aunt & cousins weren't losing any of their precious so time with him. He was always aware we were there. When I would make sure his lips were moist he would sass me, just because he could.

I really miss him a lot.
I had a lot of good times at his house with his family & my parents.
I miss those times.
