They had two children: Martha & Job.
The life of Job Hawkins, sparsely recorded as it is, has some features somewhat out of the ordinary. When he first arrived in New England, we assume that he resided first with his brother James in Boston. Then, with the appearance of his parents just a few years later, he initially joined them in their exile in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where he was admitted as an inhabitant and obtained land, both directly from the town and by gift from his father. Within less than a decade, however, at about the time of his marriage, he returned to Boston.
