James W. Foley, a life long resident of Hartford, died Wednesday, (May 15, 2002) at the West Haven VA Medical Center surrounded by family. He was the beloved son of the late Wilfred and Yvonne (Ducharme) Foley. After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he returned to Hartford and established his plumbing and heating firm in 1951. As a master craftsman, he serviced the community until the time of his death. He was a Captain and life member of the 1st Company Governor's Foot Guard; also a member of the Elks and Veterans of Foreign Wars. A lover of life, he enjoyed boating, dancing and a good time.
