Arthur Crowell was a long time resident of Tucson, Arizona. Early in his career, he was the organist for the Hippodrome Theatre, in Taft, California (he was just 17 or 18 at the time and was suggested for the job at such an early age by Fox/West Coast staff organist Frank Lantermen) as well as many other theatres over the years including the Fox Theatre in Tucson, Arizona. He appeared several times on national television. Arthur was a long time musician in Tucson and teacher as well. His funeral was from Catalina United Methodist Church with Rev. Ravin Gaston officiating.
