CLARKSVILLE -- Violet L. Adams, 73, of Ozone died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Plainfield, Ind.

She was born Nov. 6, 1934, at Pelsor. She was a homemaker and attended Salus Free Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oral Henry and Sally Wheeler Adams; and her stepfather, Manley Warren.

Survivors include brothers, Robert Adams and wife, Betty, of Udall, Kan., Jim Adams and wife, Helen, of McPherson, Kan., and Leroy Adams and wife, Jennett, of Udall, Kan.; sisters, Lillian Murry of Lamar, Eileen Hopkins and husband, Gailard, of Udall, Kan., Ivy Sory and husband, Carl, of Ozone, Ava Provence and husband, Kenny, of Adair, Okla., Nadene Clayton and husband, David, of Indianapolis, Ind., Darlene Sullivan and husband, Don, of Plainfield, Ind., and Patty McEthany and husband, George, of Clayton, Ind.; stepbrothers, Doc Bobby Warren of Clarksville, Kenny Warren of Texas and Delbert Warren of Washington; and stepsisters, Juanita and Irene, both of Kansas.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Salus Free Holiness Church with the Rev. Robert Boen and the Rev. Larry Willis. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Udall Cemetery in Udall, Kan. Arrangements are by Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
