CURWENSVILLE - Adaline Belle Cathcart, 79, a resident of the Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville, and formerly of Curwensville, died Thursday Aug. 4, 2005, at Clearfield Hospital.
Born Aug. 18, 1925, at Curwensville, she was a daughter of Bruce and Ada (Harvey) Davis.
Mrs. Cathcart was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church at Curwensville.
She was retired from the former Superior Pet Products factory in Curwensville.
In August 1943, she wed George Cathcart, who died in August 1988.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters, Nellie Galio, Mae Hall, Helen Davis, Cora Fleming Barrett, Abigal Kanouff and Agnes Davis; and a brother, Bruce Davis.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen and her husband, Gilbert Gray, of Curwensville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc., Curwensville, tomorrow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Steuernagle officiating.
Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 6-9 p.m. and tomorrow from 9 a.m. until the hour of services.
