Hawkins, Melvin E.
Gobles, MI - Passed away Thursday, April 17, 1986 at Bethany Nursing Home. Mr. Hawkins was born June 1, 1896 in Maude, West Virginia and resided here the past 50 years. Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Floyd, Robert, Mrs. Paul (Sis) Fillip and Joseph, all of Gobles; six grandchildren and seven great -grandchildren . He was preceded in death by his wife Zona in 1971. Friends may call this evening 7 to 9 pm at the Gobles Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 pm. Reverend John Willis officiating.l Interment Robinson Cemetery. Those wishing may make memorials to the Emphysema Association.
