Mrs. Neuman P. Oliver

Mrs. Mabel R. Oliver, 56, of 2156 Twenty-third Street, died Saturday in her home, of natural causes.
She was born May 7, 1917 in Crockettville, Ky. She lived in Port Huron for 27 years. She received her schooling in Ky. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Port Huron. She was married to Neuman P. Oliver on April 13, 1936, at Buckhorn, KY.
She is survived by her husband; for daughters, Mrs. Jennie LaPine, Mrs. Wanda Nutt, Mrs. Patty Shagena, all of Port Huron, and Mrs. Betty Newberry, Jeddo; two sons, William Oliver and Robert Oliver, both of Port Huron; five brothers, Clyde Deaton, California, Raymond Deaton, Hanover, Ind., Willie Deaton and Reynold Deaton, Henryville, Ind.; three sisters Mrs. Bertha Curtis, Port Huron, Miss Theda Relken, Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Bonnie Storen, Brownsburg, Ind.; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at p.m. Tuesday in the Church of Christ, with Steve McFarland, officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
The remains are in the Pollock Randall Funeral Home from 2 p.m. today until 11 a.m. Tuesday, when they will be taken to the church.
Robert J. Nutt, Thomas L. LaPine, Orval F. Shagena, Donald H. Newberry, William Friley, and Russell F. McNeill, will be pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ.
