TOWNSEND LYMBURNER, farmer, Section 18, P.O. Port Huron, is a native of Canada, and was born in Lincoln County, Ontario, May 2, 1832. He grew up and lived there until 1861, when he came to Detroit, and the following year in June, came to this county, and afterward engaged in lumbering; he bought the 200 acres of land. He held the office of Supervisor eight years, and was Highway Commissioner three years, and served on School Board many years. Mr. Lymburner married Miss Alice Stevens, a native of Oakland County, Mich., July 13, 1867. They had six children-Sadie, Millie, Arza, Grace, Charlie, Florence.
