ARLINGTON, Mass. - Julia A. "Judy" (Burns) Peters of Arlington, formerly of Charlestown, died July 8, 2012.
She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Peters; devoted mother of Judith Becker and her husband, Charles, of Hooksett, N.H., and John R. "Jay" Peters Jr. and his wife, Maria, of California; loving grandmother of Stephen Becker, Diane Downing, David Becker and Monica Laborin. She was also survived by seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Regina Reynolds of Medford. She was predeceased by Louise "Kitty" Shields, Ann "Bunty" Noonan, Helen Kearns, Margaret "Peg" Wiley and Dorothy "Dot" Rioz.
.services: There will be no visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Agnes Church, Arlington, at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12. Relatives and friends are invited. Internment will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, July 13.
