Father of Jack, Diane, Mary Linda, and Kathy
Grandfather to Diane's kids.
Brother to GilbertSpider and Henrietta
My Uncle owned.. "The Luhr's Flower Shop" in St.Mary's and had
Greenhouses in the Back of the property, with all the flowers and
plants used in landscaping business.
His Brother and Sister where also in the Floral Industry.
They where very well known in Elks County.
Uncle Pebble told me as a Kid... "once you get it in your Blood,
you will never get it out of your system"...I didn't understand,
as a Kid.. until I became a Florist.
Just the smiles on the Faces of People, you helped , Is Priceless.
He showed me the old days of designing and I showed him the new
stuff, like making a poodle, out of flowers. 1970.
I loved when he came to NYC for a visit and he took me to all
the wholesalers on Fifth Ave. and other places
I really Love My Job. Not to many people can say That.
Thank You Uncle Pebble.
He passed away on Mothers Day Weekend. How Fitting.
