Jay was a 1969 graduate of Wabash High School, and received an Associate Degree from Ivy Tech. He worked at Ford Meter Box for 30 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Wabash American Legion. Jay enjoyed line dancing, traveling, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Jay is survived by 2 children, Robert William (Vanessa) Windsor of Westfield, Indiana, and Jennifer Ann (Erik) Schmoyer of Brownsburg, Indiana, 3 grandchildren, Hadley Windsor and Reagan Windsor, both of Westfield, and Kaleb Schmoyer, of Brownsburg, and a granddaughter on the way, 2 brothers, Randy Windsor of Elkhart, Indiana, and Bruce Windsor of Wabash, several nieces and nephews, great-niece Alexis Windsor, and great-nephew Jonathan Windsor, both of Wabash. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Kay Windsor.
