Mr. KENTON T. HOLSINGER, SR., 78, of Keystone Road, Emmitsburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa. He was the husband of Pauline V. Shifflett Holsinger, his wife of 57 years. Born April 26, 1908, in Timberville, Va., he was a son of the the late Michael J. and Josephine Benington Holsinger. He was the last of his immediate family.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Chuch, Timberville, Va. Prior to his retirement he had farmed in the Emmitsburg area for many years and was an avid horseman.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Kenton T. Holsinger, Jr., Gettysburg, Pa.; Danny W. Holsinger, Utica; three daughters, Ocie Romania Jeovns, Wilmington, De.; Bonnie Lou Dixon, Woodsboro; Peggy Maxine Henhart, Walkersville; si grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the Stauffer Funeral Home; Frederick' interment in Utica Cemetery.
