Mrs. Audry L. "Sue" Beard, 72, of Frederick, died Saturday, Nov. 1 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 27, 1931, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Manie Clark. She was educated in the Carroll County public school system. She was employed at Springfield Hospital Center and later retired from Frederick County Department of Social Services. She was a member of Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church of God, Frederick. In enjoyed reading, she enjoyed her family and friends.

She is survived by four daughters, Jessica Gardner of Westminster, Mary Drake of Baltimore, Edie Beard of Reisterstown, and Jay Whiteside of Libertytown; two sons, Donnie Clark of Frederick, and Ronnie Beard of Martinsburg, W.Va.; step-son David Jones of San Mateo, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law; two sons-in-law; one sister, Edie Green of Westminster; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be remembered by Clyde Rollins of Frederick and friends Grace Patterson of Libertytown and Ida Brown of Frederick.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Gary L. Rollins Funeral Home, 110 W. South St., Frederick. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church of God with the Rev. Roger E. Rollins officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
