Mrs. Nancy Katherine Dillard Young, 33, of 303 Edgecombe St. died Sunday October 8, 1978. She is survived by a son, Bobby Ray Young, Jr. of the home; a daughter, Tonya Young of the home; a brother, Jerry Thomas Dillard of Stanley; two sisters, Mrs. Margie Pope and Mrs. Delores Collins, both of Belmont; her mother, Mrs. Ann Dillard Edwards of Belmont, her stepfather, Lee Roy Edwards of Belmont; a stepbrother, Steve Edwards of Gastonia and two stepsisters, Mrs. Rita Baker and Miss Rhonda Edwards, both of Belmont. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday October 10, 1978 at Carothers Funeral Home in Belmont by the Revs. Robert Gittens, Arthur Wiggins and Tony Cox. Burial will be in Hillcrest Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Carothers Funeral Home in Belmont.
