Daisy Boyd Hawkins, 88, of 55 Grumman Ave, Norwalk, died Sunday in a private convalesant home in Norwalk. She was the wife of the late Cecil Hawkins.
Born June 11, 1893, in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Roberts Speller, and lived in Stamford for the past 50 years.
Survivors include one son, Elmer L. of Old Saybrook; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Biggs of Norwalk; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien, tomorrow at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Claude Peters of Talmidge Hill Community Church.
Arrangements are by the Bouton and Reynolds Funeral Home, 545 Bedford St., Stamford.
