Johan Wilhelm Fischer was born before Apr 11, 1706 in Langenselbold, Main-Kinzig-Kreis, Hessen, Germany (LANGENSEOBOLD CHURCHBOOK http://ofb.genealogy.net/famlist.php?ofb=langenselbold&lang=en&modus= as the fifth child of Weigel (Weygel) Fischer and Anna Lörch). He had five siblings, namely: Johan Henrich, Johan Conrad, Johannes, Johan Henrich, and Johan Caspar. He died on Oct 23, 1771 in Heidelberg, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA. When he was 26, he married Elisabetha Gertruat (Gertrude) Hain,daughter of Johan Geörg (George) Hain (Hëhn Hähn Haines) and Anna Veronica Schneider, in 1733 in Wernersville, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA (St.. John's Reformed (Hain's Cacusi) Church).

Gravesite Details

The family plot has a plaque documented the life of Wilhelm and his descendants. They were an important and influential family who helped found St. John's Lutheran Church. The gravestones are now weathered to almost unreadable condition.
